SPLIT:TED is an indie pop band from Middelfart on the island of Fyn, consisting of four young men in their early twenties. The band was formed in 2020 during the COVID pandemic and started as a commentary on the situation under the name “Sprittede.” Since then, the name has been changed to the more poetic and fitting SPLIT:TED.

With frontman Jonas Rasmussen, drummer Søren Ronge, guitarist Casper Jørgensen, and bassist Magnus Bo, the band aims to communicate a certain sense of seriousness through their music and intense live performances, while ensuring that listeners and concertgoers feel both moved and uplifted — mentally as well as physically.

Musically, SPLIT:TED draws inspiration from a wide range of artists such as The 1975, Artemas, and Peter Sommer — the latter particularly in terms of lyrics and are currently working on writing new songs and developing their sound in collaboration with producer Esben Svane.

Live, SPLIT:TED already has considerable experience. Since 2022, they have played more than 50 concerts, and this summer they won the band competition Quasar at Jelling Festival, which has resulted in a long list of bookings in 2026.

Their new sound and identity is just the beginning for the band - so stay tuned on these guys.
