Renay is a danish soul/funk duo with René Nielsen on vocals and guitar and Nikolaj Lippert on bass and as producer.
René has been in the world of music for years in search of his spot. For years he traveled around Denmark with his guitar and found the core of his soul music.
On one of these nights, he meets Nikolaj, who has worked with multiple established artists. They immediately connected over playing music that night. The following days were spent in Nikolajs studio where they began working on this modern but still authentic approach to writing soul music and that is how the Renay project was born.
Their first single Fire To The Dancefloor is written by them both in collaboration with the established songwriter Marcus Winther-John and is a single that really shows the big potential this duo shows.
