Behind the band Kalaset is five young people originally from Middelfart. They now live in a collective together outside Skanderborg, where they focus on their music.
Their sound is inspired by nostalgic 80’s synth and indie rhythms and sends your thoughts to groups like Superheroes, Broken Social Scene, and The Cure delivered with a mix of modern dream pop and indie rock.
With their danish lyrics, they create an honest, raw, and energetic universe where you really feel like something is at stake. They write about youth, silence, restlessness, and dreams.
They are an amazing live band and won Quasar 2021 and later that year they played Uhørt, where they received glowing reviews for their live performance. In 2023 they played big festivals as Roskilde Festival, Smukfest and Jelling Festival and released their debutalbum 'grib mig hvis jeg falder'.In 2024 they will play their biggest headline concert in Store Vega!
